Local Creator Donations

We support and promote books, DVDs, and music CDs written, published and/or produced by local Sonoma County authors and other creators. Materials must be sturdily bound, professionally produced and suitable for public library circulation. Our selection and retention guidelines can be found in the Collection Development and Management Policy.

To donate a title for consideration, please print and fill out the Local Creator Donation form and drop it off with one copy of the work at your local library. We are unable to return items once they’ve been donated. If selected, we will add one copy of the work. The material will be findable in the library catalog and available to library patrons to checkout.

If you do not wish to donate, you can submit a Suggest a Purchase form online. Be sure to put in the notes that you are a Sonoma County resident and what city or area you reside in. Not all suggestions will be purchased.
